This neckpiece was inspired by the myriad of dreams which we enter into during our sleep and the connection between the conscious and unconscious state.
Dreams come and go through sleep as thoughts do in reality. Through this unconscious dream state a desire of understanding and meaning of the connection between the two forms of reality and dream state can create certainty, understanding and expectations.
Some dream states are fluid and have continuity but so many seem so fragmented, sometimes reflecting reality in such perfect form.
This piece was crafted from repurposed acrylic which I saved from landfill from manufacturing discards and designed, laser cut, hand etched and hand painted with artist quality acrylic paint.
All components are both oxidised and 925 sterling silver, neoprene and a magnetic sterling silver clasp.
All my pieces are packaged thoughtfully in a printed box and can be beautifully gift wrapped if desired.
