This series is inspired by the Karri forests in the deep Southwest of Western Australia.
They stand tall above you and own the sky. Driving along the red dirt roads - lined with the tallest trees in Western Australia, these trees bring a sense of peace and stillness that only nature holds for us.
The copper represents the dappled light that shines and sparkles through the trees and the hand-etched perspex holds a likeness to the texture, colour and gentleness of the bark.
These earrings have been ethically made from perspex which were remnants from manufacturing discards, copper and sterling silver.
They come in a series of two only- a unique handcrafted one off pair.
