This series 'Wild Card' - was inspired by taking risks, mixing things up and the joys of pulling the wild card. So often our everyday life can be so repetitive and 'groundhog day-like' - and with this collection I aim to provoke the wearer into being more spontaneous and changing things up a little with a big bunch of colour and fun!!
All of my work has been handmade in my studio in Perth and all of the materials I have used are collected from manufacturers discards and remnants of signage and industrial projects. In doing this I aim to reduce the amount of plastic that ends up in landfill.
All of my pieces are one-off, hand-etched, hand-painted statement pieces made from recycled perspex, 925 sterling silver and acrylic paint. Each pair comes packaged thoughtfully in a printed velvet lined box.
