This series was inspired by an empty word, an empty promise from another.....and the ability to empower yourself to live by your own word and your own promise to yourself. Show me gives light to those who believe in the power of their own strength, and to not rely on another's.
Each one of my pieces is hand-crafted from recycled perspex, collected from manufacturers discarded off-cuts. Within my practice I aim to divert this plastic from landfill by repurposing it and creating a new life in the form of wearable art.
These bangles are a limited edition of 4, crafted from recycled perspex and acrylic paint. Thoughtfully packaged in a velvet bag- screen printed in Fremantle, WA.
