This series was inspired by the connectedness, care, unity and power of women helping women. The inner strength women innately have, and the strength they give each other through generosity, equality and togetherness.
Each one of my pieces is hand-crafted from recycled perspex, collected from manufacturers discarded off-cuts. Within my practice I aim to divert this plastic from landfill by repurposing it and creating a new life in the form of wearable art.
These bangles are a limited edition of 4, crafted from recycled perspex and acrylic paint. Thoughtfully packaged in a velvet bag- screen printed in Fremantle, WA.
