This series 'Worlds within Worlds' was inspired by our own world, our underworld. The precious world we need to nurture to find peace within. Wherever that is.
Each one of my pieces is hand-crafted from recycled perspex, collected from manufacturers discarded off-cuts. Within my practice I aim to divert this plastic from landfill by repurposing it and creating a new life in the form of wearable art.
This neckpiece is an edition of 2, uniquely handcrafted in Western Australia from recycled perspex, acrylic paint, 925 Sterling silver and black hematite. Packaged mindfully in a velvet lined box.
